Objectives

Dashboards have become a popular means to present critical information for rapid monitoring, but few are designed to do it effectively. When designed well, instead, dashboards engage the power of visual perception to communicate a dense collection of information efficiently, with exceptional clarity. To do so, though, it is necessary to know how to apply some specific techniques. These skills are not so intuitive as it may seem: they must be learned and practised. Through this course y,ou will discover the common problems encountered when designing dashboards and will learn a comprehensive set of effective design practices through examples that reveal what works, what doesn’t and why.

Managers, consultants, professionals, entrepreneurs and anyone who need to produce or develop clear dashboard, regardless of the tools being used. This is a training about dashboard design, not implementation. It’s not exclusively for dashboard developers, but anyone who has an interest in bringing useful data visualization to life in their organization.

Thematic Coaching 1: 1

The Thematic Coaching 1: 1 represents an alternative to the traditional inter-company classroom training. The Thematic Coaching 1: 1 is available for those courses that do not require group interaction.

The Thematic Coaching 1: 1 consists of:

  • A reduced but intensive duration compared to the corresponding classroom training: 1 day of coaching 1: 1 (9.30-17.30) instead of the 2-day course.
  • A videoconference follow-up /2h) after 2-3 weeks.
  • Same cost as the classroom training (*).
  • Delivery of the coaching at the customer’s office.
  • Greater flexibility on course planning.
  • Personalized training, according to the needs of the participant while respecting the structure and
  • contents of the proposed program.

* An additional transfer fee is considered for the lecturer if the client’s office is located outside the Lugano area.
